Gardening is truly one good practice or hobby. It does not only make you feel nice and relaxed but it also develops the creativity and love of nature in your personality. This makes you a better person with a sense of concern to God’s gifts and creations to man.
Aside from the plants and flowers that you put and cultivate in your garden there are also other things that you can add to beautify your garden. There are ornaments or decorations that you can use for your garden. There are a number of decorations you can choose from, they can be statues, fountains, sundials, chimes, masks, gnomes, and hanging baskets to name a few.
It is actually the homeowners’ choice to add up these decorations. Because some might think that they will just spend money for this but the choice is yours. Some gardens may have decors which are very simple and there can also be those which the owners have spent fortune just to have design they want.
Many of those who choose to have decors want to feel more relaxed that is why images and creations like a greenhouse or something that looks like a paradise are made. They want to feed their senses, that is why they are willing to spend.
A fountain is something where water comes from a source, then there is some kind of a basin where water falls and then drained and comes back again. There are wall fountains and free-standing fountains. Surfaces can be stone, metal or concrete and they are designed to fit the image that you want.
Statues can be representations of people, animals, events or any other creatures. There are different types and era you can choose from. There are large or small items to choose from. A sundial serves to measure and tell time based on the sun’s position. While masks are normally worn on the face, they can also be used as decorations in the garden. They can be simple or colorful and they can be different images. You can also use wind chimes and ordinary chimes to add up to the effect in your garden. There are also those who use the garden gnomes, they are mythical creatures which are very very small and they have a lifestyle of the underground creatures. You can also use the hanging baskets to put some artificial plants/flowers or even real plants and flowers as well or just the hanging baskets with designs. There are also some who use furniture, fences and other things which interests them.
So, don’t be bothered if you are thinking that you are heading to an expensive activity because everything will be depending on you. You can also make up your own decorations that you want by simply recycling some things you have. You are not only able to save money but you also are earth-friendly and creative. This does not only make you busy but also feeds your senses and pleasures you also.
